Ongoing since Spring 2020

Planting Change Foundation, with our partners CENICA and Centro Humboldt, has implemented an educational program on climate monitoring and station, with the participation of 1,400 students. Students were able to monitor and record rainfall, analyze data patterns, and study the relationship with climate change, access to water, and food supply. Teachers were trained to continue leading the program, thus strengthening the overall math and science curriculum through practical application. Students were able to share the data they collected with their community network and help provide projections and recommendations for agricultural production.
